U- Pick Flower Experience

🌸 U-Pick Flower Garden Experience – Now in Full Bloom! 🌸

We’re so excited to welcome you to our flower garden for a hands-on bouquet-making adventure!

If you're planning to join us for a U-Pick session this season, please take a few minutes to read through. It will help you understand the purpose of our U-Pick Experience and ensure you’re fully prepared.

🌼 U-Pick Season Details

• When: Every Friday and Saturday morning, starting July 28 until mid-September (weather permitting)

• Times: Sessions begin at 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM

• Booking: Spots are limited and filling quickly—book in advance on our website to secure your spot!

💐 What to Expect

• We provide clippers and a pitcher for collecting your flowers.

• After picking, you can transfer your flowers into a container you’ve brought or purchase a mason jar, bucket, or cup from us.

🎟 Pricing

• $35 per person (+ tax) – Pay upon arrival (Cash, E-transfer, or Credit/Debit accepted). $5 is collected at time of booking. You will pay the remaining $30 when you come and pick the flowers.

• $10 per non-picker guest – If you're accompanying someone but not picking flowers. Do not book a spot for non pickers.
  (Children under 12 can accompany for free if with a paying adult)

• DO NOT BOOK YOUR CHILD UNDER 12 for a spot, even if they plan to pick a kiddy cup. Only book a spot for people picking a regular pitcher.

🌸 Kiddy Cups – For Little Gardeners

• $20 per child – Available only if accompanied by a paying adult

• Includes a child-sized pitcher (20 stems max) to pick the flowers. Flowers are then transferred into a complimentary cup to take their flowers home.

• No pre-booking required – Purchase on-site during your visit

• Children must be supervised and assisted at all times when cutting flowers

🌾 Picking Guidelines

• Each adult pitcher includes up to 30 stems:

  • ~⅓ blooms

  • ~⅓ fillers

  • ~⅓ greenery and accents

• Premium flowers may be limited or cost extra – ask us first

• Please respect flower limits and picking rules – this ensures everyone gets to enjoy the garden

• No bulk or bunch picking – U-Pick is meant for variety, not wholesale purchasing

👟 What to Bring

• Water-friendly footwear (especially if it’s rained)

• Sun/rain gear, gloves, and optional: your own clippers

• A bucket or vase for taking your flowers home (or purchase one from us). Your bucket should be squeaky clean or the flowers can get clogged and wilt on you.

• A change of shoes is recommended – you’ll be walking through dirt paths!

⚠ Important Notes

Children & Safety

• All children must be within arm’s reach of an adult at all times

• No running or unsupervised picking—clippers are sharp and some flowers may be toxic or cause irritation

• Children should not at any time walk around with scissors.

Accessibility

• Our garden paths are narrow and uneven – not suitable for wheelchairs or strollers

Pets

• No pets allowed during U-Pick sessions

Cancellations & Refunds

• The $5 deposit is non-refundable

• You can reschedule at no extra cost or transfer your booking to someone else if it’s within 48 hours before your booked time.

• We operate rain or shine, except during severe weather (in which case you’ll receive a refund if rescheduling isn't possible)

Liability

• Charlie May Farm is not responsible for injuries, damages, or lost property
