Frequently Asked Questions

Where is your farm located?

We are located at 4310 Waverley Street, La Barriere, Manitoba

We are located just north of La Barriere Park and River Oaks Golf Course and South of Sagehill Stables, only a few minutes south of the perimeter close to St. Norbert.

Can I visit the farm at any time?

We are a working farm so we are not open to the public at all times. If you are picking up an order you are welcome to come to the farm during your scheduled time.

At various times we will have products for sale throughout the season which will be announced on instagram or facebook or on our website so you can have the opportunity to see what is available.

Starting in the Summer of 2024 we will be offering U-Picks at various times throughout the season which you can book a time online when available.

What do you grow on your farm?

Currently, we grow veggies and medicinal herbs for our own consumption and at times for sale to the public at roadside sales or markets.

Fresh Flowers are grown to sell fresh during the summer growing season and also a portion is dried and available for sale in the fall/winter until supplies last.

Do you have animals on the farm?

We sure do! What is a farm without some farm friends.

We have horses, chickens, sheep, ducks and the odd pig or goat or cow to keep us company.

Our chickens are a big work force for the farm and produce eggs daily to supply to family and friends.

The ducks are the best animals to help control pests in the garden and clean the pond by eating the algae. They laugh at all our jokes too, so I think they are keepers.

We have had 3 crazy sheep on our farm for over 10 years. They just hang out and keep good company for the horses.

Do you host workshops?

Yes, we do plan to host workshops. Workshops are on hold currently due to changing and unforeseen government restrictions but stay tuned for when we feel this may be an option again. We are currently working on creating online workshops for the future as in person has been a challenge to plan during this time.

How do I buy flowers?

Flowers can be ordered online and can be picked up at the farm during your scheduled time between Monday to Friday.  Orders must be placed at least 48 hours in advance, so we can pick and prepare your bouquet, so it is as fresh as possible.

We may have flowers available to pick up while supplies last and will be available on our road stand or farm truck. Times and availability will be announced on Instagram and Facebook and also on our website. We also may sell bouquets at local markets and will be announced close to the date.

Flower subscriptions are available to purchase online in our shop in the early spring for a limited time and limited amount available.
